  • Uploaded documents and content: strata reports and related files you upload, plus any text you submit for summarisation/analysis. These documents may contain personal information about you and/or third parties (e.g., owners' names, addresses, correspondence, financial details or dispute history).
  • Support communications: messages, feedback, and attachments you send to us.

2.2 Payment information (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited payment-related details (e.g., payment status, billing details, transaction identifiers). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

2.3 Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, timestamps, and referring URLs.

2.4 Sensitive information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (as defined under the Privacy Act). If you upload documents containing sensitive information, you consent to our handling of that information for the purposes described in this policy.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain and improve the Service
  • process payments and deliver the outputs you request
  • manage user accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support
  • monitor performance, prevent fraud, and protect the security of our systems
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

No model training: We do not use your uploaded documents or account content to train machine learning models. We process uploaded documents only to provide the Service (generate your report) and to maintain and secure the Service. We may use de-identified and aggregated information (where practicable) to improve product performance and user experience.

4. Uploaded documents (important)

When you upload strata reports or related files:

  • you confirm you have the right to upload and provide those documents for processing
  • we will process the documents to provide the Service (e.g., generating summaries/reports)
  • we restrict access to authorised personnel and service providers who need access to deliver the Service
  • you can request deletion (see Section 9)

5. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Cloudflare R2 (file/object storage for uploaded documents; bucket location: Oceania (OC))
  • Zoho (email/customer communications)
  • Google Analytics (website analytics)
  • professional advisers (lawyers/accountants)
  • regulators or law enforcement where required or authorised by law
  • a buyer or successor in connection with a business transaction (subject to appropriate safeguards)

We take reasonable steps to require service providers to handle personal information appropriately.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia.

Countries where overseas recipients are likely to be located include:

  • United States (e.g., Google Analytics processing; Stripe processing/support operations may also involve the US)
  • Other countries may apply depending on the locations of our service providers' infrastructure and support teams

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This may include access controls, encryption (where appropriate), logging/monitoring, and backups.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should protect your account credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may send service-related messages (e.g., account or security notices). We may also send marketing communications where permitted by law.

You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us. We action unsubscribe requests within the timeframe required by Australian spam laws (generally within 5 working days).

Uploaded documents: We retain uploaded documents for 30 days unless you request earlier deletion or we are required to retain them by law. Account and transaction records may be retained longer where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • essential site functionality (e.g., authentication)
